Why Treeside RV Resort Is The Perfect RV Escape in Central Texas

We’ve stayed at some pretty great RV parks, but Treeside RV Resort in New Braunfels is one of our new favorites—and here’s why…

From the moment we arrived, everything was immaculate, fresh, and inviting. The most impressive (and our favorite amenity!) – the two gorgeous pools. One is a resort-style adult pool with in-water tables, sun decks, and hot tub, perfect for splashing, floating, or just relaxing. The second is a separate kids pool with a shallow area and water feature. We spent a lot of time in the adult pool, but my favorite was floating in the pool watching the sunset.

We were blown away by how well-equipped Treeside is. They have three convenient laundry buildings with lots of washers, dryers, folding space, plus nearby showers. We appreciated not having to pack up and drive elsewhere just to do laundry, and when you live & travel full-time in your RV like us, having an on-site laundry facility is a dream!

The office includes a general store and is connected to a game room stocked with board games and books, and a kitchen with a large gas stovetop and oven for those times you really want to do some baking and the RV oven just isn’t cutting it. The clubhouse is a great place to bring your laptop and grab a free cup of coffee. While outside, there’s a pavilion, cornhole games, grills, and a fire pit for evenings under the stars.

It is easy to be active while staying at Treeside with their newly expanded fitness center with several cardio machines, weights, and other equipment – and it’s open until 10 PM. We found our new favorite workout – pickleball! There are pickleball courts and cornhole lanes right by the pool, so after a game or two, we could change in the showers and jump right in the pool to cool off in the adult pool. We also found ourselves in the kid’s pool splash zone and swinging on the playground—no kids required. Because sometimes you just need a break from adulting.

There are 264 full hook-up sites on the 45-acre property, all with level, concrete pads—some back-in, some pull-through, and some nicely shaded. With 20/30/50-amp service, water, sewer, and Wi-Fi available, we had all the regular connections needed for an easy stay. (It’s always a bonus when you don’t have to tote your tank waste!) And that reminds me – curbside trash pick up daily. Talk about an experience that is above and beyond!

Treeside sits right off I-35, making it a fantastic home base for day trips. We were a quick 10–12 minutes from downtown New Braunfels, 10 minutes from San Marcos, and less than an hour from San Antonio. Whether kayaking the Guadalupe River, strolling through historic Gruene, or checking out all the fun things to do in New Braunfels, everything was close enough to experience tons of fun and restaurants.

From the time we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, with staff personally escorting us to our site and making sure we got set up with no issues. It’s the kind of hospitality that instantly puts you at ease—especially after a travel day. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was helpful and genuinely kind, which made the whole experience feel even more relaxed and enjoyable. It’s little touches like that that turn a great stay into a memorable one.

If you’re searching for RV life done right, Treeside RV Resort combines top-tier amenities (two pools, gym, clubhouse, laundry), spacious, full hook-up sites on concrete pads, and a convenient Texas Hill Country location. Plus, it has that rare quality—designed for families, but playful enough for grown-ups. We laughed, relaxed, explored, and we definitely left already planning our next stay. To us, that’s winning RV life.
