Two Creeks Crossing, Onalaska, Texas

Good Times, Great Amenities

If you’re looking for a spot in East Texas to park your RV and just chill – check out Two Creeks Crossing RV Resort in Onalaska. From the moment we pulled in, it felt like we arrived at a Texas RV paradise. There was southern hospitality and charm everywhere, from the friendly staff to the beautiful clubhouse.
The amenities are meant to allow you tons of fun, or a nice, relaxing stay. We took advantage of all of them, but mostly loved relaxing at the pool and hot tub. We tried our hand at pickleball, which is under a large pavilion – great protection from the hot Texas sun, and challenged each other to a few games of ping pong and cornhole. If you want to keep working on that summer body, there’s a decent little gym and, thank goodness, laundry facilities. When you’re ready for some more relaxing activities, they’ve got a catch-and-release pond and community firepit. We found out they’re adding a lazy river to the pool area soon, which sounds pretty awesome for just floating around and soaking up the Texas sun. We will be back to enjoy that!

One of the things we really liked was this cool little food cabin, Swampers Ice House, where you can grab pizza and wings – perfect for those evenings when you don’t feel like cooking. They also serve drinks (the frozen sangria was sweet and yummy!). Grab some bites and drinks, and sit out on their outdoor patio area with tables, umbrellas, and a big play area with jenga blocks and corn hole.

If you love getting out on the water, you can rent kayaks from the clubhouse and paddle around the creek, out onto Lake Livingston, or even up to Rocky Creek Falls. And if you want to cruise around the resort in style, they’ve got golf carts for rent too – perfect for zipping over to the pool or Swampers for a bite. Plus, if you’re a boat owner, you can bring your boat and enjoy Lake Livingston.

What if you don’t have an RV or you want to bring along friends or family who aren’t rolling in their own rig? No sweat! Two Creeks Crossing also has really cool cabins and yurts for rent. So, you can have the whole crew together, enjoying all the awesome amenities this place has to offer, whether you’re in an RV, a cozy cabin, or a funky yurt. It really makes it the perfect spot for a multi-family getaway.

Seriously, this place has thought of everything. You can park your RV, rent a cabin or yurt, kayak on the creek, tool around in a golf cart, and even bring your boat for some serious lake adventures. And after a day of all that fun, you can still chill by the pool, soak in the hot tub, or grab some grub at Swampers. It’s just got that perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
